More than 1,000 charities apply annually to participate in the Commonwealth's workplace giving campaign. More than 20,000 employees annually support their favorite charities through the CVC. This page includes links to valuable information about the CVC, including our e-application to participate in the campaign. Please note that this application is only live from March 1 to April 30. If you miss the deadline, we will welcome your application next year. If you represent a charity and you are not getting emails from the CVC Staff, please sign up by clicking here.

Submitting Making a Difference Stories

We like to feature charities who can share a success story related to their mission.

  • Tell us a success story. You may change names to protect your clients
  • Use Tahoma or Calibri Font, Size 12, 1.5 vertical spacing
  • Limit your story to one page of typed copy with above specifications
  • Send a photo if appropriate or we will select a stock photo for anonymity
  • Keep the story crisp and impactful
  • If available, include your logo in .gif or .jpg format
  • Include a phone number or contact if we have a question about your story
  • Include your CVC code
Posting depends on timing, number of stories that are too similar to other submissions, and sometimes seasonal appropriateness.
